No Escrow Service
Bitcoin Markets does not hold funds or provide escrow services (at this time). All transactions occur directly between users.
This means:
- We never have access to your Bitcoin or any payment methods
- We cannot intervene in disputes between buyers and sellers
- You are responsible for verifying the trustworthiness of your trading partners
- All transactions are final and at your own risk
Trade safely: Start with small amounts, use trusted escrow services if needed, and meet in public places for local transactions.

Your privacy is our priority:
- End-to-End Encryption: All messages are encrypted with OpenPGP, ensuring only you and your conversation partner can read them
- Minimal Data Collection: We only store what's necessary to operate the platform
- No IP Logging: We don't track or store your IP address
- Automatic Cleanup: Messages are deleted after 30 days, inactive accounts after 90 days
- No KYC: Register with just a username and password—no email, phone, or ID required
